Weaving with harakeke native flax

During this 2 hour workshop, local weaver Ara Swanny will teach about harvesting and preparing harakeke (native flax) into strips ready to weave with. The class will then weave their choice of a simple basket (konae) or flower (putiputi). All tools and materials are supplied.
