Tupuārangi Lino Print Workshop
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity at the RSA as we explore Māori design motifs using Lino-cut prints developed with artists Heidi Brickell and Trixie Andrew. Afternoon Tea provided. No experience needed.
The Lino-cut prints will be provided with different design motifs and we will guide you through the process of printing your own items (clothing, bags, cards etc).
Māori design motifs are rich in symbolism and storytelling. These visually rich motifs are used in carving, weaving, and tattooing to convey cultural knowledge, history, and spiritual beliefs. These motifs are not just decorative; they are a vital part of Māori culture and identity.
