





Rotten Luck Fermentation Club Special - Cheese-making
Come along for a 2 hour cheese-making demonstration and tasting session! Local enthusiast Erin will guide us through the process and share her love for all things cheese.
Event Details
What - 2 hr workshop where you'll be shown how to making a fresh batch of cheese (probably halloumi and maybe also paneer), and everyone can take some home.
When - 2pm-4pm, 28 September 2025
Where - St Marks, 98 Rāwhiti Road, Pukerua Bay (opposite school)
Cost - $10 per person
What to bring? Anything yummy for the tasting session. Bonus points if it is home made.
Who - Kids welcome to join but they will need their own ticket and must be supervised by a caregiver at all times.
We will also have a tasting session of different types of cheeses for everyone to sample.
Bring any questions you have and you'll be able to look at the range of equipment used too. Will have tips and tricks for setting up at home, including sourcing the right type of milk and getting your hands on some rennet.
This session is a fundraiser for Pukerua Bay Hub.
